Technical Rider

For venues and event planners providing equipment for DJ Don.

  1. Mixer: Minimum Pioneer/Alpha Theta DJM A-9 controller preferred. A DJM V10 would also work very well.
  2. Controllers: Minimum two Pioneer CDJ 3000 DJ controllers and all the Pro Link requirements (CAT5 cable, digital RCA cables). A third CDJ 3000 would be most welcome and improve performance. Controllers updated to the latest published firmware.
  3. Adjustable laptop stand for the DJ.
  4. DJ booth/table: A rectangular DJ booth/table sufficiently sized to comfortably hold the gear described above. Table height should be approximately 37-40 inches.
  5. Handheld DJ microphone: Minimum quality of Shure SM58, Sennheiser E835, or similar.
  6. PA system: Sufficient for anticipated audience size. Excellent subwoofers required.
  7. Floor monitor(s): DJ floor monitor(s) connected to the mixer allowing DJ control of monitor volume. Placed on the floor to the side of the DJ.
  8. Small mixer: A smaller mixer and interface/hookups to the main PA system, such as a Yamaha MG10XU.
  9. Lighting: Sufficient to match event energy, room size, and intended audience demographics and event type.
  10. Tech to run sound and lighting for larger events.
  11. Load-in, setup, and strike all included.
